After years of resistance, my level of "contribution" to this wonderful thing we call the web has reached critical mass. Moderately decent photos, mildly amusing videos, and vaguely intelligent commentary from yours truly are spread out amongst the masses at the TwitterFlickrBooks. Well no more, friends! One stop shopping for all my creative musing is finally here. "And lo, Mike looked at all he had created, and it was good."

Took advantage of what will likely be the last nice day of the year to drive up to Kinzua Bridge State Park in North-Central PA. The Bridge is what’s left of a railroad crossing spanning a deep ravine. The span was partially destroyed by a tornado and was subsequently restored into a more robust foot bridge. While the footbridge itself was so-so, the less traveled views below made for some great shots.
A little bit of blindness was a good tradeoff for some deep orange leaves and nice light rays.
A stained glass window overlooking the courtyard of St. Peter’s Church in Butler. I liked the deep reds mixed with the cool blue tones. Makes for a great desktop wallpaper.
We passed this field of rapeseed flowers on our multiple drives between Mullingar and some of the local attractions. The yellow is almost blinding with its intensity.
Now that there is the Tec-9, a crappy spray gun from South Miami. This gun is advertised as the most popular gun in American crime. Do you believe that shit? It actually says that in the little book that comes with it: the most popular gun in American crime. Like they’re actually proud of that shit.
Well, the way they make shows is, they make one show. That show’s called a pilot. Then they show that show to the people who make shows, and on the strength of that one show they decide if they’re going to make more shows. Some pilots get picked and become television programs. Some don’t, become nothing. She starred in one of the ones that became nothing.

Some interesting photo stats. Although this is only tied to my iPhone photography, I generally have it with me whenever I also have the D5100. These stats date back to June 2009.
Inside the Walled Garden at Belvedere House in Mullingar. An HDR shot of this vivid red lilly.
On Saturday night, we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay. The large courtyard and grounds atop the cliffs overlooking the Pacific include numerous fire pits perfect for enjoying a cool sea breeze, the sounds of the waves crashing, and some delicious s’mores.
